Mary Poppins’ Bag

Customised mentoring

Mary Poppins is an amazing character and as a child I fell in love with the film and was always incredibly curious about what else she had in her bag. What else would we discover? It was always everything you ever wanted and right when you need it the most.
My customised mentoring is designed for you to pull exciting, challenging and engaging ideas out of your bag in anyplace and at anytime! We’ll focus on your specific needs, styles and goals creating an individualised plan that you can apply in all your teaching settings.

“Tiziana is a great professional and a wonderful person! Her Skype sessions were fundamental to my work! Precise ideas, suggestions for many games and activities, clear explanations with the addition of video and descriptions, have allowed me to easily use the music in my workshops by offering different stimuli for each type of audience and age!”

– Lucilla – Art therapist

“I met Tiziana on the occasion of her workshop “From Body Music to Soundpainting”, held in Milan. I was immediately struck by her enthusiastic, dynamic and multimodal approach to leading the group in diversified and engaging musical activities. I therefore decided to rely on her for a tailor-made online mentoring path: together we have developed inclusive activities that combine teaching English with body percussion, the use of the ukulele and the composition of songs with it, to involve my pupils aged 6 to 10 more effectively and creatively in learning a foreign language. Tiziana was an attentive and enthusiastic mentor who made her multiple and varied experience as a music teacher and researcher available to her, reinforcing it with her knowledge of the context in which the English language is the mother tongue.”

– Debora Carlomagno – English teacher of primary school in Italy

“We have entirely positive feedback from the workshop with Tiziana! The fantastic thing from the quartet’s point of view was that whilst we learnt a huge amount about how to work with deaf children specifically – a lot of what was discussed could easily be applied to communication skills in wider contexts; working in a participatory workshop, university classes or speaking to concert audiences. Tiziana was also very interested in knowing about our own workshop practice and provides very useful feedback on how to adapt this to the needs of deaf children.”

– Ligeti quartet – mentoring about music for deaf students

“Tiziana is a great teacher! I had the opportunity to follow her in circular music retreats in northern Italy and it has always been engaging and stimulating. I then viewed her work during a special training for music educators where I could learn and experience a lot. A great tutor. Thanks!!

– Mauro Faccioli- music educator, music therapist and drum circle facilitator
