Children 6+

When your child reaches primary school age, they have already developed a different interest for music and instruments. At Music Tree we know this is an important moment for your child and the development of their musical skills and coordination, both fundamental for playing an instrument.
At this age, children are developing at different rates, and therefore it’s very important to follow a correct learning sequence to keep them motivated and engaged, building on their enthusiasm.

Our one-to-one classes can either take place at your home, online or at our venue in London.

We suggest a minimum of 45 minutes per class as we believe this time is needed to go deeper into the discovery and connection with an instrument, and gives us the time to get to know your child and their needs.

Research in education informs us about the correct learning sequence to help the study of an instrument and our primary mission is to ensure every child has a positive musical experience, focusing in particular on motivation and passion as much as musical theory and technique.
