MUSIC AND LANGUAGE

Our Music and Language lessons for babies and toddlers include games, movement, rhythm & songs in the chosen language to develop children’s ear training and music awareness as well as developing the knowledge of the language through music.

Based on an extensive body of infant research and early year music education, our course focuses on children’s natural music attitude development. Music, among others, supports language and communication which is why we use it as the main tool to facilitate and support the acquisition of the Portuguese language.

In this way, children are exposed to a rich music environment and can interact with adults and their peers through sounds, voice and body movement in a holistic experience that promotes both language and musical development.

The sessions are led by our musicians and early year specialists, that will interact with the participants using singing, moving, musical instrument and proms.

Classes are held at Music Tree (maximum 9 children per group)
