INSTRUMENTAL CLASSES

WE WANT TO CREATE A MUSIC PLAN THAT SUITS YOU!

Whether you are a parent who is looking for new ways of engaging your child in their early development, a student looking for some extra guidance heading towards exams, a musician looking to demo some songs or someone who just always fancied trying an instrument, we are here to help you achieve your goal.

With trained DBS teachers trained in early development music, piano, guitar, ukulele, music production, voice coaching and body music, we’re sure you’ll find what you’re looking for at Music Tree.

TYPES OF CLASSES

IN PERSON

Children between 5 and 6 are ready to experience music on an instrument! After dancing, singing and discovering their coordination, the curiosity towards the piano, the ukulele or another instrument is really big! But it’s easier said than done. Yes, you got it right: even if your child asks you to play an instrument it doesn’t mean that they are actually really ready for it or to face the classic one-to-one lessons.

That’s why at Music Tree we have created a special course just for this age! We want to accompany your child to discover various musical instruments (before choosing which one to study) while we help them develop their musicality and physical coordination (essential for playing an instrument).

This happens by working in small groups because at that age children still need to be with their friends and have fun while they learn. They will have time, in their life, to study an instrument with the necessary care and attention but we want to be sure to help them cultivate their passion and give them the necessary skills so that this study can remain fun even when it will require more effort.

These classes, inspired by Gordon’s Music Learning Theory, research in body music and neuromusic.

Children work in small groups of a maximum of 6.

They will explore different instruments (piano, ukulele, percussions) learning in a rich musical environment through original songs and fun instrumental pieces.

In these stages, you will also find online courses recorded by our teachers to support your child practice between the weekly classes (Sing and Play – ukulele ; Sing and Play – piano)
