DISCOVER THE JOY OF MUSIC
Exploring the benefits of musical expression
Circle singing, body music, and vocal improvisation are powerful tools for creative expression, community building, and personal growth. These practices offer a unique way to connect with others through the power of music and rhythm.
Our weekly meeting are inspired by the example that can be found in the work of Música do Círculo, a group based in San Paolo, Brazil. Through their innovative approach to music-making, they have created a space where people from all walks of life can come together to explore the rich potential of the human voice and body.

What can you expect?
Circle singing is a collaborative musical form that involves singing together in a circle, with each person contributing their own unique sound and rhythm to the mix. This practice fosters a sense of community and belonging, as everyone’s voice is valued and heard. In our sessions, this practice is used to build group cohesion and promote a sense of collective creativity.
Body music is another technique used by during our meeting, which involves using the body as an instrument to create complex rhythms and percussive sounds. Through the use of clapping, stomping, and other forms of bodily percussion, participants can explore the rich possibilities of rhythm and melody. This practice also helps to cultivate a sense of physical awareness and presence, as each person learns to attune their movements to the group’s collective beat.
Finally, vocal improvisation is a powerful tool for self-expression and exploration. Through the use of improvisation, participants can tap into their own unique creative potential, discovering new sounds and melodies that arise in the moment. This practice also fosters a sense of vulnerability and trust, as each person learns to take risks and share their authentic voice with the group.
